12 Month Update!

Here she is at 12 months

Here she was at 1 month! WOW

She just had her check up a couple of weeks ago! R is now 22 lbs 9 oz (75-90 percent) and 30 inches long (75-90 percent). Just before her appt we started her on whole milk! Let me tell you we are excited about this! She likes it, but wanted nothing to do with it in the bottle. YAY no more bottles too! What a week! She can have eggs now as well. So we tried that out and she wants nothing to do with them unless they have cheese lol. R still doesn't really chew and the dr said that some children aren't ready till they are 15 months and to keep trying. R says the following words now...uh oh, dada, mama, hi, and ball. R is just all over the place now and we love it! She has such an amazing personality.

Apple Cinnamon Muffins

I have been making new breakfast foods for R and these turned out GREAT!

Ingredients:
1 1/2 Cup Flour
3/4 Cup Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoons Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
1/3 Cup Veggie Oil
1 Egg
1/3 Cup Milk
1 Apple - Peeled, Cored, and Chopped

Topping:
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/3 Cup Flour
1/4 Cup Cubbed Butter
1 teaspoon Cinnamon

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease cupcake pan or use liners.

Stir together Flour, Sugar, Baking Powder, Salt and Cinnamon. Then mix in Oil, Egg and Milk. Fold on Apples. Spoon in to cupcake pan ONLY 2/3 full.

Then in seperate bowl stir together Flour, Sugar, Butter and Cinnamon. Sprinkle on top of the unbaked muffins.

Bake for 17-23 minutes. Checking with toothpick to see if complete.

Look who is in the cabinets!!!

While I was making her dinner the other night she decided to get out some pans. It was cute because she would take them all out and then put them back and shut the cabinet!

Videos with her Baby

We bought R a baby for her birthday and she loves it! I had to take a couple of videos of her playing with it. If you ask her where her baby is she finds it. She hugs it and gives it rides in the stroller. Don't forget to turn off the music.

R's 1st Trip to the Zoo

Daddy and R

Whew what a ride

Chilling on the cow

Walking the Zoo

At the Petting Zoo

Getting bumped by the cow

Meeting the Cow

Sleeping Lion

Oh now the Lion is awake

The Zoo was so much fun! We really enjoyed watching R get excited about the animals. She did really well. When she met the cow...well, the cow knocked her over a couple times by bumping her. We will have to go back soon.
