Say Cheese!

9 Month Update

So here we are at 9 months. R is doing very good...very happy! We had her doctor visit this time. She is 20.6 pounds (75%) and 29 inches long (90-97%). Pedi was very happy that R was on 3 meals a day already. We can start trying finger foods now, so we got some puffs and she doesn't seem too interested at the moment. R is now more consistent when waving hi and bye. She says do (for dog), dada, and uh oh. We are still working on mama and hi...just started working on mooo. She did say mooo once...hehe!! She is still a couch surfer so we are still anticipating the walking. She just loves the dogs. This week she was cracking up at them so hard it made me laugh. And they didn't do anything to provoke it either. Here is a video, but I must say that it is at the end so the laughs are not as good...sorry I tried.

8 Month

R is 8 Months Old! We can not believe it! R is standing a lot now with out holding on. We think that it will not be long until she is walking. She loves to Couch Surf as well! We have been trying new foods as well. We have had Green Beans, Peas, and Apple Sauce this past month. She LOVES Peas which really suprised me. We are moving on to Pears next and will be adding lunch in to the rotation soon. R also learned how to waive hi and bye this month. It is still very selective ( and when I say that I mean on her terms...lol ). Since our last update R has a new tooth and is currently working on another. Or at least we think because the drool is plentiful. Sorry no weight and height updates at this time, but in a couple weeks we will have that info.

Fish Lips!

Just recently R started to make Fish Lips while eating her Cereal. It is super cute, huh? Now I just have to teach her Elvis Fish Lips! HeHe

Christmas Day was Great! We had it at our house this year. We liked that because then we didn't have to travel a bunch of places! Thanks everyone for coming. R had a very good Christmas and we enjoyed sharing it with her!

On Christmas Eve we went to Church. R and I were in the 1st service and I sat out with Little R during the 2nd service. Then we headed to my mom and dad's for Chili and Gifts! It was nice!
