Here I am with DADDY!

We needed more pictures of R with R (tee hee that is kind funny)! So we are sharing! They are cute together huh?

We can not believe that it has been a month already! Our little girl has grown to weigh 9lbs 11ozs and she is 22 inches long now. She is smiling and making some really cute sounds now. We just love it! The doctor changed her formula again because she was just way too fussy and gassy. She said that she would not change it if she was just gassy, but since she was both then she would. She gave us two different kinds to try out! One was for reflux (which the doctor thought she might have). I think that we have a winner! Since starting this new formula she is a totally different baby! Not a baby that I know...lol! It is so great. We think that she is still has a little bit of the reflux, but she is much happier! We are stealing the chair idea from Melissa (sorry hun), but here is a picture of her in her rocking chair. We will take a picture of her every month in this chair so you can compare.

Our Journey

In May of 2006 we started going to a fertility specialist. After all the tests the conclusion was that we could only have children through In-Vito (IVF). Having been blessed with the best insurance in the world we were able to try using IVF. It is a pretty expensive procedure without insurance. In Oct of 2006 we had our first attempt and it landed me in the hospital, then turned out to be negative. Needless to say we were crushed. So in May of 2007 we tried again. This time the attempt went better for me, but still resulted in a negative. We had some embryos frozen from the 2nd attempt and a frozen cycle is cheaper. So in Aug 2007 we tried for a 3rd time. Well you know how they say 3rd time is a charm...Well it is! This baby is a blessing from the Lord!
