R's Dedication

R was dedicated on Sunday at Church. It was very nice! Here are some pictures of her in her dress! I love the one of her looking down, it is so sweet! Thank you to everyone who came to share in her special day! Also thank you Auntie M for the book!

R's 1st Tooth!

Well...after many attempts we finally got a picture of her 1st tooth. You might have to double click on the picture to make it bigger! This tooth is about half way up now and the one next to it just broke through!

R Crawling..Watch Out!

R started to crawl on Thanksgiving, but boy does she have this figured out now! She is into EVERYTHING! As you can see from this video her favorite thing to do is crawl towards Daddy's Electronics and press buttons! We try saying her name to get her to come back our way. She usually looks back with a smile and then continues on her merry way towards the item...lol!

Ho Ho Ho...Merry Christmas!

We took R to get her 1st picture taken with Santa. We went fully expecting for her to cry and not like him. Well, as usual she suprised us! She LOVED him. She just looked up and smiled at him. We got this cute pic and are very pleased! YAY R!!!!

7 Months on Turkey Day!

R is 7 months now...can hardly believe it! As you probably know from a previous post she is loving her baths and claps now. Just today she crawled a little for "real". Also today she let go while standing. She did it once, but only for a brief moment. Later in the evening she was letting got and coming my way. Her tooth is coming in more now so hopefully I will get a pic of that soon. She is also babbling a lot now. She says DaDa, but doesn't really know what it means. So we are working on that. She also says Do...so we are trying to get her to turn that into Dog. Let me just say that I am loving this stage in her life so very much. It is soooooo wonderful to watch her learn new things. We are SO BLESSED!

I have a new Beanie!

I picked this beanie up for her to wear on Black Friday! Isn't it SUPER CUTE! Yes, we went out shopping on Friday am. We got R up at 3:15am and she slept till we got to the 1st store. Then crashed again later!

On Friday, we went to Grandma L's house to celebrate Thanksgiving. Great Uncle R and Great Aunt K were there to meet R for the first time! Also Great Grandma P was there! R was just a little cranky because of her tooth, but towards the end of the evening she livened up some! It was nice seeing the family.

R's 1st Thanksgiving went very well. We went to my mom's to celebrate. R slept most of the day (one time with me...lol).

I love this soooo much! I have been working with her for months to get her to clap. On Sunday before church I thought she was clapping. After today I know for sure! Way Cute!

R likes to army crawl to the doggies. She likes to get their paws. Jersey will let her do this for a little bit. Reba on the other hand usually doesn't even let R get to her before getting up and walking away.

6 Month Update!

I know we are a little behind with this post. It started out because I wanted to have all her stats from the doctor and well it was pushed back. Then it was just me not getting the picture taken. Sorry! R is now 16 pounds 12 ounces and 27 inches long. She is in the 50-75% for weight and 90% for height. She had her shots again at this appt including the flu shot. R is just growing up so fast. She is now pulling herself up into a standing position. Sometimes she is up for awhile and sometimes she is right back down. R is now eating 2 "solid" meals a day. Cereal in the morning and Veggies at night. I spent Thurs evening making her baby food. That was fun! She seemed to like it even though she gagged some. We will try again tomorrow : ) On Nov 6th she had her 1st tooth pop through. It seems to have stopped growing though...lol because it has been the same height since then!

R had three costumes to choose from. We started out the day in the Pumpkin costume. She seemed to like that one. Then we went to the Cow costume and she did not like that one! It took me awhile just to get a pic of her smiling in it. Later we had her in the Daisy costume and she like that one. Since she liked both the Pumpkin and the Daisy...the decision was up to Mommy! So R was a Daisy this year! Happy Halloween!

R had her 1st taste of Rice Cereal last week. Let me tell you she likes her food. I am really excited for this because I plan on making baby food for her. We are going to move to Oatmeal this next week and then Squash! Hope she likes my cooking...LOL

Look Who is Sitting Up on Her Own!

You Guessed it R is!!! The picture of her in the Cherry Outfit is the the 1st time she sat up on her own. I was watching TV and went to look to see what she was up to. Much to my surprise there she was sitting up smiling at me. The orange outfit was a couple days later. The Video R took of little R and this was when she was just starting to sit up. R said that it was hard to get this video because she would not do anything if he was holding the camera so he had to set it up and pretend he was not looking...LOL
