I had my monthly OB appt today...it was short and sweet! I love it I am in and out in like 10 minutes!!! I am measuring 24 weeks ( so right on )! I asked how my weight was doing and she said that I am doing good. No, silly I am not going to tell you how much! I got my lab paperwork for the Glucose test that has to be done before 28 weeks. I am getting ready to call every Sonora Quest in the Valley to find a location that has something other than Orange flavor. As many of you know...I HATE Orange and doubt it would stay down. So wish me luck I need it! I will post belly shots this next week so we are back on track with those. So stop back by!
Monday night I was sitting on the couch and the little one was kicking harder than normal so I tried to feel it on the outside. Well, sure enough I could feel it!!! So I had R put his hand there and then it happened. I asked if he felt it and he said yes and then asked me if that was it or me flexing my stomach. I thought I would share that because I thought it was funny...me flex my stomach right now...LOL! He is excited and happy to finally feel her move.
Well, I am about a week late posting this. Here are my belly shots! Not sure if I am any bigger, but I feel bigger...LOL!! I started to feel her move about 4 weeks ago, but I feel her more now! She just makes me smile and laugh. It is a true blessing that I am able to experience this. R still has not been able to feel her move, but soon I am sure! 
We had our BIG ultrasound today and it was amazing! As soon as the tech put the wand on my belly you could see that the baby had the hiccups! So cute!!! The baby was on it's belly and the tech could not get good pics of the heart or the "parts". So I got up, used the restroom and jiggled a little. It worked, the baby flipped. So we found out that we are having...(((drum roll please)))... a little GIRL!!! We are way excited!

This was out 1st Halloween in our home and it went great! We handed out full size candy bars to the trick or treaters. By 7:30 pm we were out of candy bars ( we had bought 50), so we handed out the candy that we had here at the house. We had to turn out lights out at 8:00 pm. We were not expecting so many kids.
We had our 15 week check up a week ago and everything is going great. I have gained 2 pounds since the last visit and doctor said that was good. She let Rollie find the heartbeat with the doppler and he enjoyed that. We also have it recorded on Rollie's cell phone! My next appt is after thanksgiving.
I know that we are past the 8 week mark (YAY), but I could not resist posting this! We think that the little Olson looks like a little gummy bear!!!
So we have kept this a secret for long enough. We are expecting on April 19th. We are so happy! We have known since August 13th, but want to get through the 1st trimester before telling friends. We hope that you understand! Stop by for regular updates about Baby Olson!
